Dixons Cup Joy

The Year 10 Boys' football team took part in the annual Dixons Cup 7-a-side tournament at Dixons Allerton and were fantastic from start to finish. They went the whole tournament unbeaten, winning 3 and drawing 2 games. The results were:

DCA 0 v 0 Dixons Trinity
DCA 2 v 0 Dixons Trinity Chapeltown
DCA 2 v 0 Dixons Allerton
DCA 0 v 0 Dixons Cottingley

As a result of the students' work rate and determination to be the best, we won the overall tournament! This was an even bigger achievement due to the standard of football on show across all the schools. All 8 team members were amazing ambassadors for City and it was a pleasure to watch their free flowing football.

The students involved were:

Armaan, Jeremy, Haashim, Hevar, Essa, Ibrahim, Victory and Haider.
