Age of Wonder at Leeds Trinity University

Over the last four weeks, five Dixons City students have been taking part in a project by ‘Age of Wonder’ and Leeds Trinity University to create a podcast. They have participated in three workshops at school to learn how equipment and the studio works and planned the podcast itself. Last Thursday, the students visited Leeds Trinity University where they were taken on a tour of the campus, seeing the TV studio and media centre and recorded the vodcast itself (it ended up being filmed), based around topics such as social media and mental health. They also took part in a photography workshop where they were able to use the equipment and practice taking photos, and a session about why University may be a future pathway to consider. The students were an absolute credit to the school and young people in Bradford.
