Nick Gadsby

Assistant Principal

Nick graduated from the University of Glasgow with a degree in Geography. His education journey began in Bradford as a Teacher of Geography, advancing to Head of Department for Geography early on in his career. Nick has worked over the last 10 years as Heads of Humanities and most recently leading an EBACC department in a school in West Yorkshire. This developed his passion for developing rigorous and highly sequential curricula that push students to achieve well and develop cultural capital.

Nick joined Dixons City Academy as Assistant Principal – Curriculum in January 2025 and is committed to developing an ambitious, rigorous curriculum driving forward our purpose of excellence.
