Chris Bell
Vice Principal
Chris started his teaching career working for four years at a secondary school in Tottenham, North London. While here, he discovered a joy to working in the pastoral area and became Head of Year in his NQT year.
Chris subsequently worked for 9 years in North Yorkshire working initially as a Head of Year then as an Assistant Headteacher with responsibility for attendance, behaviour and inclusion. Chris was also DSL and has a passion for ensuring that students are safe and protecting their well being.
Chris then moved to work at a school in Leeds as Senior Assistant Principal - Positive Behaviour and Culture before being approached to support a school in Rochdale as Pastoral Vice Principal.
Chris started working at Dixons City Academy as Vice Principal - Culture in September 2023 and is committed to ensuring our community operates by our shared values of Determination, Integrity and Respect.
